RARE original publisher's $2.95 price sticker on front cover. It is nearly impossible to find any of  Dr. Seuss's books with the original price stickers. This is the only example of this title with the price sticker that we've seen.

Binding tight. Pages are clean and bright. Small initial mark "H" on ffep (blank endpaper). Slight wear to corners, especially to one corner.

Dust Jacket has some wear, mostly to corners, moderate soiling, imprint of name right above the THE on the front panel. Price still intact.

Bonus: The simultaneous Houghton Mifflin First Editions of both THE CAT IN THE HAT and THE CAT IN THE HAT COMES BACK are included. These Houghton  Mifflin Editions are even more rare than the Random House Edition.

Although this is one of the more easy to find Dr. Seuss First Editions
it is rarely seen in this exceptional condition. This is the nicest example we've had and there are no examples this nice currently for sale online anywhere.

time), perhaps because demand was not great they had to have higher prices on foreign language editions in order to make money.

Much harder to find than the English edition.

Price clipped but still identifiable to First Edition. Has only one signature (all later printings had more), no B-1 on spine. Dust Jacket is clearly the original the came with the book as wear is consistent with book. So it is definitely the first edition.

Binding very good. Very clean and bright. Slight wear along edges but still very square example. Dust Jacket is clean and bright with moderate wear at corners - still very nice. Price clipped.
